All the hype and the game is over 8 minutes in. even for UConn fan how boring. Waste of money. I didn't expect a win but can they at least be somewhat competitive? Embarrassing. cup cake teams put out a similar effort. So frustrating

UConn gets the ball to start too because the the "jump ball" called when the UConn player had his knee in our guys stomach.  lol. Even the announcers were sayin that's a foul. lol.

So.... Gonna need a good start.    Kolek will explode second half.    Kam too.   We can use Ben to hit a few in half two.   Let's Go Marquette!

Thought it was an easy bet laying 7.5! Not surprised at all.Was hoping for a better game though

Bascially, UConn doesn't give us the layups we're used to getting and consequently we're tentative anywhere.  UConn at home where they can get away with a little extra bumping, coupled with their size and quickness is very tough.  Hurley is a good coach, they play like us with bigger and quicker and more players.

But, even during our win streack, we tend to play one blah half and one very good half.  Let's hope our very good half is coming up.

...they lost all-BE players...and got better!! This shows what MU needs when it comes to HS recruiting and portal transfers. UConn is the benchmark.

yep that killed us. We lost Omax and gained absolutely nothing from last year. not using the portal was a msitake...

...I'm guessing there were expectations Jop and Gold would be better, especially Gold. And, maybe Shaka felt one of the freshman could offer something.  Jop has had a good run the past 5 or 6 games...and to be fair, Gold too...but UConn is the standard. It's clear what we need...and if we get it...a big that can play D and clean glass, and another 6'7" wing, we're right there. I'm not sold on TK leaving, but I suppose we'll need a pt gd too.

I actually thought BG was decent, two in and out threes. Limit the careless, lazy turnovers and make some shots. Up the energy level on D, beat the guy to the spot, box out. We aren't going to outbound anyone, but we can do a better job of limiting third chances. We need to press the permitter ball handlers.
