In the original Pray video, there's a brief shot of me, in the band.  I know it's me, because I've slowed it down frame by frame to check.  (Admittedly, even I can barely tell)

That said...there's only a single shot of the band in here (in the background).  Same for cheerleaders.  In my experience, the band kids and cheer folks are the most passionate fans AND representatives of the university.  If you're going to show the student section and sweater vest fans going nuts, you gotta include the people who are at every cupcake game and who travel with the team to tournaments.

Other than that, this is awesome.  Go MU!

It's a perfectly nice video; a nice commercial for our program, even. But it just doesn't feel like a hype video to me. It's well made. It instills pride in my alma mater and the basketball program that I support. But it's not going to get me fired up before a game.

I honestly wasn't intending it as a criticism. I think it's a good video. The tweet that is linked compared it to the Pray video. I just think they are very, very different videos. One feels like a hype video that will get me fired up for a basketball game. One feels like a nice promotional piece for our basketball team.

It's definitely not... one feature various players and was basketball centric with an overall tough guy theme essentially amounting don't mess with us on the court. This is an overall positive university message showcasing a happy enjoyable culture at MU.

It's a great MU video, I don't think it's a hype video like pray or any of those Buzz era midnight madness videos.
