Gotta say, I was at the game, and at its peak, the student section was WAY more full.  That photo is misleading, wish I took a pic now..  Though they did leave before the end of the game.  I don't blame them.

Couldn't blame em if they left at halftime.

No doubt.  Most of them stayed until at least under 12 of the second half.

Agree that there were far more than the photo shows and that they stayed until near the end. They were quiet, but who could blame them? Other than a sprinkling of nice plays here and there, GT was awful. Kudos to the GT students who showed up.

Even in years when GT had a good team, I always found GT fans to be "good hosts" in the sense that you could chat with them about the game and exchange observations without a hint of animosity. Imagine trying that in Storrs

I'll let you know how it goes in about 11 days.

Imagination is the only route these days. The game is in Hartford.

The photo was taken at tip-off.

It's been nice knowing you.

I'll be there with 5 other big burly guys from the class of '88. We got this.

Thanks for the reminder. Hartford is even closer to home!

I stand corrected. I didn't realize it was that bad but should have.

Good thing.   I recall you as an average sized soccer fan.   Anybody else from surfin 7?

Yup, I'm not exactly a burly guy myself. The whole crew is from McC Surfin' 7 (1984-85)...Greg B, Rich M, Joe G, Kevin N and Mike P. Plus we'll meet up with Matt Mc who I was with at the @Providence game.

Will be a fun weekend, hopefully including an awesome victory!
