Biggest issue we have like every game is not giving up an ineveitable run

Its that they are almost always a result of every player completely losing it at the same time. Its never 1 or 2 guys. Just all 5 guys on the court forget basketball for 4 minute stretches.

Shakas time to shine here at the half.

Marquette is one of the best in America at not allowing a run.

Nova got away with a lot of crap in the last four minutes.

Gold and Joplin missed threes and two Oso bunnies.  MU was hot, but those hurt, just didn't go.

Armstrong torching Stevie, who may some clutch shots. Up 20 with five left in half, ugh. Can't lose a game up 20 at end of half, right....Believe Nova gets ball to start. Still happy up eight.

I will say he's been they guy at times when everyone else goes on tilt. But we can do it without him...we proved it.

Wow. That was the longest 1st half I've ever seen. Had such a dominant start, scoring at will, and playing outstanding defense. I thought MU would run them out of the gym and get on the plane.  Oh, boy. It's will require even more effort. I saw Wes Matthews today (thank you for sharing the link) anyway he entered the MU hall of fame. He talked a lot about determination.

Yes, there is nothing I want to see more when MU needs to stop a run than clearing out for Joplin to drive. That always ends well
