Kolek always seems to have very big games in road games such as these.

Hes going off tonight.

Kam partook in Shoot Around.  Hopefully he is able to give like 15+ minutes of quality ball tonight. Stevie had a 19 point effort in his homecoming last year. Hopefully he can continue to put pressure on the opponent on both ends!

Here's hoping Neptune hasn't changed his defensive game plan

I'd be willing to bet that Neptune goes full out protect the paint and pack it in tonight, maybe comes out in a zone.

Just in time for Marquette to nail some early 3s and send him spinning, then he surely won't know how to react.

I'd imagine he will do tonight what he should've done on the road and it'll likely bite him.

Here's to hoping Marquette hands him another loss.

Ben finding his 3-ball has come at the right time.  Hopefully he can keep it going tonight.

Kam's either playing or he's not.  You don't come back on a minutes restriction off a sprained ankle.

Two big questions for me coming into this game:

1. Will Neptune learn anything from the game two weeks ago and realize that allowing 60 points in the paint is a losing formula. We should be able to tell early if Nova is going to force MU to show that they can hit more than 25% of their threes before allowing the number of layups they did in the first meeting.

2. Will Kam Jones play? If he can't I think MU is in big trouble. Remember that he was one of the biggest beneficiaries of Nova's defense in the first game with his array of drives and spinning layups. Norman and Lowery can't replace those. Kam is also one of the biggest potential 3 point threats.

There is also the depth issue. I wouldn't be surprised to see Nova try to post Dixon to try to take advantage of his strength and possibly get Oso in foul trouble. They can also try to post up some of their bigger guards

Hopefully Nova can't repeat the way they shot threes in the first half of the first game. But fatigue and foul trouble might make it harder to employ a tight defense on the perimeter.

This is going to be a tough one to win.

I agree with all these points; if Kam can't go, I expect to see Gold on Dixon and Oso out on perimeter. If Kam does not play and we get a Gold performance like Seton Hall, we can definitely win.

I don't foresee Gold replicating 3-5 from 3 on the road. I had this one as an L at the start of the season. Acceptable loss...this one, at Creighton and at UConn. We'll win the rest for a solid 14-6 BE record.

You know one scooper will bark "unacceptable! inexcusable!" if we lose. I'm not sure why, but I think we win this one. I'm counting on Neptune to help us do it.

Wasn't he also 3-5 @ DePaul?

He has back to back 3 made 3FG games.

3 for whatever. Either way. Still 3 made 3s in each of the past 2 games.

I recall that earlier this year Tyler sprained his ankle a played in the next game. I have high hopes for Kam as well.

That scooper is 1000% correct.
