This isnt a logical statement. What PC fans have said and whether or not it's honest/dishonest, classy/appropriate, etc has no bearing on whether Goodman threatening an independent documentarian is moral, there's no linking the two. The documentarian's responsibility is to provide a neutral platform that encapsulates how people feel about the departure. Goodman attacked the documentarian for... doing just that? By that same logic Goodman should threaten any documentarian for filming something he disagrees with or because he deems it inappropriate. If Goodman wanted to do the moral and ethical thing he'd have said "giving these people a platform to throw out unproven allegations using the big east name was inappropriate" that creates a dialogue and debate about the information, casts light on the rumors that people were throwing out there. However, he didnt, he implicitly threatened a person, insulted their character, and tried to intimidate them (with prison which wouldn't make sense as this'd be a civil matter).

Jeff Goodman is a named idiot. He should feel embarrassed for hunting down an amateur journalist at best.

What is Cooley gonna do - sue for slander? He'd have to open himself up to defense attorneys to get that moving, and the potential truth about his affair or other things he's keeping quiet might come out.

Every fanbase has fans that chant, mock, jeer, swear and say everything you can think of that should not be said. I witnessed it during the BET last March. From my experience the UConn fans were the absolute worst and there was such a gap between UConn and everyone else it was mindboggling.

If MU was in this position and Shaka left for another rival, there is a part of the MU fanbase that would act like Kansas and Texas fans have this year - classless.

Goodman is the PR guy FOR A LOT of coaches.  If he's mentioning names for an open position, it's that coaches agent feeding him info to help get their guys raises.  When jobs open, see who he is pimping.  You'll know he's getting insider info from those coaches and their agents on all subjects.

Same with Rothstein.  There's a reason only certain coaches get the Rothsteinisms.  It's like the one strike against Shaka

Then Jeff Goodman is still a punk who decided to threaten someone on behalf of either FS1, the Big East, or on behalf of Ed Cooley.

If its libel/slander/ etc. let Cooley sue the producer of the doc into oblivion.
