Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Oso with the best all around game.

Oso

19 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, two blocks.
Only took 9 shots, made 8.

Kolek not good second half.

I mean, not sure how anybody could go against Oso in this one. He was dominant at both ends and on the boards. Plus 6 assists.

This is one of the easier choices of the season.

Don't know why they abandoned Oso ISO like him taking it up the court but he was the difference.

Red Panda comes in a close second.

Dr. Blackheart

Easy pick. Oso. Double double, missed one shot.

Even Rocky can't screw this one up.

OSO for SOTG

1st Honorable mention Tyler.

2nd Honorable mention Jop.

DoctorV

Osasere.

Not because of what he did stat wise, but because he looked far and away the best basketball player on that court tonight.

Tyler looked good too, but he looked like he was trying too hard.
Oso made it look easy.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Oso for sure.  Easiest pick of the year, I thought.

Everything about Oso last night was a thing of beauty. What really impressed me was that it looked he was a ton faster last night. More impressive to me was that he looked 100% in control going coast to coast. I was always impressed with Omax ability to take it the length of the court, but Oso made it look extremely graceful. If there is more of that to come, I think MU just became a much bigger threat in March.

Right on target Goose.  Last night it felt like this was the Oso Shaka has envisioned and said many times:  He doesn't know how good he can be, and he's always looking to make everyone around him better versus sometimes just asserting his greatness.

Hoping this game serves as a catalyst for Oso to unlock all of his massive potential and that we continue to see him assert his greatness.

Today's Number: 1

That's how many bigs in the country might be better than Oso.

And really, Marquette outplayed and outscored Purdue when Oso was on the court in his matchup with Edey. The single biggest factor in that loss was Oso picking up his second foul with that silly reach-in near midcourt.

He's a heck of a player, totally irreplaceable for us this season.

Oso's statlines will never get him All-American recognition, but I agree with all this. So great in terms of individual, team, and positional defense, a complete unicorn on offense, this is a guy we need to appreciate. Like Tyler, Crowder, and Wade, players like this don't come along often.

Osasere.

I legit laughed when Lappas struggled with his last name for about 10 seconds, and settled on Osodaro, or something like that.
