1.  MU could win shooting bad from 3.
2.  Can't have shooters passing up open 3s in order to watch Kam go one on one.   MU was doing that at the end of the first half. Shaka must have said something similar at halftime.  Glad the team listened.
3.  Gold is finally getting over his shin splints.   That sequence with the scramble under the basket culminating with Joplin running away from the man with the ball and Gold picking up the foul was great hustle and bad luck for Ben.  He is moving better.
4.  Is there anybody left who doesn't appreciate Stevie?  Shame on you.  You don't know ball.
5.  No made free throws or 3s in the first half.   Stat guys are going to love that.
6.  I am glad the team is more resilient than the posters in the game chat.
7.  I am glad that elonsmusk was closer to right than BChoopster was about Zaide.
8.  Eventually, scoop is going to realize that this year's team plays really good defense.  Clean up the defensive rebounding a little more.  Because it will cost you games.
9. Free throws matta when you miss them down the stretch on the road.
10.  In a vacuum, MU won a nail biter on the road.   All that matters.

This is why you need a reliable bench. They fought hard and ran out of gas.

I know we're missing Jones and Ross, but we need to play the bench some more.  We looked gassed at the end of this one.

We did everything we could to give it away, take the win and run!

I mean your basketball IQ is low. You've proven it repeatedly.

But they may not win a championship.

Great win. Knew it would be close at the end even up 13 in second half. I'm going to get a milkshake now.

Meh.  Get Chase healthy, start hitting 3's and this is still the team that whupped Kansas and took Purdue to the wire.

Beating an unranked team by a single point is a "great" win?

Every conference road win should be appreciated and savored.

any conference road win, sans DePaul and Georgetown, is a great win

Zaide deserved more minutes - he played really well.

It's better than losing to Penn State on the road.

I mean, I realize St. John's isn't Penn State but still...

Herman Cain

We won on the road , in The Garden, on Broadcast TV, against a Rick Pitino coaches team. Job well done by coaching staff and team.

I think the guys can build off this hard fought win.

ZL is the X-factor.  If they can build his confidence and expand his role, I'm very hopeful about this team.

Zaide getting this PT is going to be really beneficial.

Need Chase back asap, though.

Never seen a 93% free throw shooter miss two free throws and then a front end, along with another good shooter miss a front end, all within a minute and a half.  Very Lucky

Don't care about Gold's. shin splints, not a very good excuse.  Big deal he made one hustle play on one possession in a game.  He is probably the slowest bigman in the big east and is now 0 for last 12 in threes and none in last five games.

If all starters were gassed at the end, why didn't Shaka play Norman in second half?  He played like a minute in first, picked up two fouls and sat after that.  Is he that bad?  If so maybe he is not the future point guard. Why did he sit, maybe Shaka has no faith in the guy? Least give some starter a rest for a minute.  Lowery should have played more and Gold did not play a lot in second half.  Shaka went with the starters.

Didn't understand working the clock down in last four minutes, then MU had to put up circus shots.  Oh well, didn't matter but strange philosophy.

Nice comeback and win, run back to Milwaukee.

Biggest mystery to me is why we went away from TK Oso pick and roll down the stretch. They had no answer for it

Hi. I'm an EMS worker and I'm in the back of the ambulance with Snoop. He asked me to post for him to say how happy he is that Marquette pulled this one out. Gotta go. We're at Emergency Room entrance.

Maybe they found n answer for it.  Didn't seem to be there.

Their press really changed the game.  Didn't turn us over, but shortened our shot clock an we didn't push the issue at the end like we did for most of the second half.

Wow ... you'd have really blown a gasket had we lost. Winning this one probably saved you an expensive ER trip.

We were favored by 1 and won by 1 on the road against a team that has caused many others trouble.

I wish it would have been a little easier at the end, but it wasn't ... and our guys still came through.

Enjoy the victory. Enjoy every victory.

Great comeback by Warriors. It was a scary one. The you dont know ball comment by Tower was dumb. Stevie is appreciated but he let Jenkins torch him all game. Smart move by Shaka putting Gold on Jenkins on last shot. His length probably made him miss.
