How is Wisky rated so highly? They have won exactly THREE games against teams rated in Pomeroy's Top 100 (they've only played seven). BTW, our SOS is 16. Pretty good for a team with such a cupcake schedule.

Hey ecompt, let's say we lose only one more on our regular season slate (a likely scenario).  Then we win at least two before bowing out in the BEast Tournament.  That puts us at 25-8 with a strength of schedule at least in the low teens (maybe top ten), and an 8-2 record in our "last 10."  If this is the way things play out, I like our chances on Selection Sunday.

I would like our chances at 25-8. I wouldn't mind finishing fifth in the BE if it means another shot at Goat Boy, this time on a neutral court where we won't face a 31-8 difference in free-throw attempts. I could be totally wrong here, but I think Mbawke is going to make a huge impact down the stretch.

Wins @ Nova and SU will be a tall order. I think we win out at home and lose both on the road. Nova and SU are fighting to get in.

Yeah, I think if we finish 5th we win at least 2 in the BEast Tournament.  That gives us a pretty good record, a good rpi, very good SOS.  Plus, I would feel pretty good going into Selection Sunday.

SoCalEagle

79Warrior, you are right.  In addition, a win against Georgetown isn't going to be east either.  Of course if we go into a funk (i.e lose 3 or 4 of the games left on our regular season slate), then forget what i said about feeling good on Selection Sunday.  However, it looks to me that we will finish pretty strong and be looking good come seeding time.

ESPN is putting us as a lock along with UCONN, Louisville and Georgetown if we beat both St.Johns and Rutgers this week... 1/2 done, lets finish it out.
