We call him Steamy Mitchell.  He brings the heat!
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Member of the Ben Gold Shooting Academy, but I love the guy. Tough D. Tenacious. Unselfish. Winner on the court and in the classroom.

BCHoopster

I was impressed that he realizes now he can take the ball to the hoop instead of jacking 3's which he is very questionable about, expanding his game.  Maybe Gold can expand his game going forward.

Impressed with Stevie's drives lately and scoring.  Yes, Ben should score around the hoop.  Forget just playing him out all the time.    Feed him inside sometimes.  Really throw off the defense of the opponents!

Some fans call him dung, so this fits

As bad as his outside shot has been.

Hes making up for it with Kam like scoring inside the arc.

Yes.  And I actually thought the best play he made was a little pocket pass to Oso while driving left in the lane.  We're more dangerous if multiple guys make plays off the dribble.  Both Steve and Kam are capable dimers.

He's the kind of player coaches love.

Vander Blue Man Group

I know 99.69% of people here love Stevie.  But since we've been hit with some injuries these are his numbers over the last 6 games:

10.8 PPG
4.7 RPG
3 SPG(!!!!) And that's with 0 vs DePaul
FG%: 55.8%
3%: 41.7% (5/12)

Big time contributions and as we all know his value isn't remotely measured by these stats.

I started believing in Stevie after the UNC game.  He and OMax were the best two players for MU that day.   Stevie gave a preview of what he would be the last 1.5 seasons.

I agree on the UNC game. In fact, I think those two were the guys brought into the interview after the game. I will say, was higher on Omax at the moment and had hopes for Stevie.
