Travis Diener

I think needs a little more work on his "let's see if I can chug a beer during a timeout " cam. Yesterday, he must have gotten a little backwash, because it looked like he was about to blow chow as he neared the bottom of the cup. The dude made a million dollar shot a couple years ago------10 ounces of warm Miller Lite shouldn't be a problem.

It wasn't Miller Lite.   Perhaps that was the problem.

His gold sport coat was on point.  I think Kam would approve.

That was one of the custom coats Wade gave to the entire 2003 team last year.

I thought the same thing for a second, but those were blue

Hard not to like Travis Diener. He was outstanding on the court and an important part of the success in the Shaka era.

I was wondering if it was an MU HOF coat. I saw several identical coats on guys my age at Major Goolsbys before the game. Gold sport coats with a number embroidered into the back of the collar. Diener’s said “‘05” so I assume it is grad year.

That could be, I double checked and the Wade ones were navy.

Weren’t the Wade ones just for the Final Four team and coaches?  Hm

I second that emotion! Miller Lite needs to be back in the taps ASAP. Unacceptable to not sell the Lords water in the building.

Wouldn't mind having Travis back on our bench again at some point. Was nice having him on the coaching staff.

I get the impression he has no interest in doing that again.

I think Travis has a pretty good gig at the moment. I hope he stays exactly where he is at.
