There hasn't been a game in which Marquette has played flawlessly for 40 minutes ... which is also the case for every other team in the country.

Against Kansas, we dominated the then-No. 1 team on a neutral court and Oso owned their 7-1 All-American. Against Texas, we humiliated one of the top programs in what many believe is the best conference, and TK went anywhere and did anything he wanted. If those weren't "A" performances, not sure what Marquette fans expect.

The first half against Notre Dame was stunningly good, but the opponent was buy-game bad; and then we played down to their level in the second half. Gave Shaka a laugher of a win and an excuse to ask for more from the team - almost a coach's dream.

Agree. We has fans always want more! Even if we win a National Championship I'm sure the following day people would ask if Shaka has what it takes to defend the title.

I'm trying my best to sit back and enjoy the season. As the most recent paintouches blog points out, the team is ahead of where we were last year. We're looking at rankings and discussing deep runs in March. its AMAZING how far we've come in 2 1/2 years.
