Unfortunately he's right, should have split with louisville and we'd still be in the hunt.  But truthfully, who cares about getting a first round bye, its the first round of the NCAA tourney that we should be concerned about.

If trevor gets in game shape and improves these last 5-8 games I think we have a real shot at making some noise in the tourney.

I am not giving up yet.  ND still has to play Syr and Lou. And GT has to play us and Lou.

Up until last night, I was just as hopeful as you 90Warrior.
ND solidified their spot with lastnight's win and Syr (while talented) is way too inconsistent for me to continue to hold my breath.

Realistically we are down to 1 shot at a first round bye.  Win out and have Louisville win at GTown. Unlikely sure, but still possible by any estimation.

From 6-5 to 13-5 and 4th place would be an amazing run.  Of course we'd then draw GTown in the Quarters.  :(

Captain, We need more sweatervests!  TheManInGold has been blinded by the light (off the technicolor sweatervest)

I can't remember, but in the beginning of the season when we were picked to finish # 3 in the BEast, that was before Trevor was announced out for the season wasn't it?

Yes.

I agree the most likely senario is us winning out and Georgetown losing to Louisville for us to get a bye.  Unlikely.
