This game is gonna go waaaay long. And it’s gonna finish with walk-ons on the floor in crunch time at the rate they’re calling fouls.

I’d be willing to bet that the second semifinal will be much more entertaining.

One of the most underrated and not so often discussed blessings of the Shaka Smart era is the exciting brand of basketball that Marquette currently plays.

There are many, many games that are extremely fun to watch, and we are blessed for that.

This game is a reason people don’t watch college basketball early in the year. This is brutal.

I went with a cold brew, Kona hawaii in honor of the tournament, and added a shot of Baileys.

Not as pure as you’d like I’m sure, but it’s fantastic

Awesome!!

Maybe I'll get my 4 cup French Press and 100% Kona Peaberry prepped.  :)

It's been a bizarre game.  It's almost as if the zebras looked at first half stats and decided Tenn needs to catch up to Purdue FT wise.

Looks like our tip will be late. Pray for no OT. I can’t believe how many games before ours (on TV) go to OT.

Yes. Three of them. They’re the ones in the striped shirts.

76 free throws.  I don't care if these guys are punching each other in the face every possession, this cannot happen.

And one of them was Willie Hines, walk-on.

This reminds me so much of last year’s BET - a close game to start where the team came out tight, but then fantastic performances against top level teams to close it out.  I think we can do it again today to close it out.

It would be very good for my heart if this game could follow a similar trajectory as the BET championship game.

This team is better than last year's team.

I appreciate everything O-Max brought to the team - his D was awesome, he had that huge tip against X, he made some other big buckets, and his energy often set the tone.

But junior Jop + soph Ross + soph Gold > junior O-Max.

Shaka has more high-quality talent he can trust this season. Plus, Oso is better, the other returning starters are at least as good, Sean Jones is significantly better, and the freshmen show signs of being able to play.

We do need Jop though.  Sometimes he thinks he's Carmelo Anthony.  No need to dribble drive and ball stop before taking a contested shot.  Get Jop on pick and pops and cuts to the rim.
