Didn't do much offensively because he didn't need to, Dominic Cheek is a stud and was unstoppable in the first half.  TT had a nice drive and finish on the first play and had about 8 or 9 points total.  Didn't take an outside shot but his form was good on his FT.  Had a couple of rebounds and a couple of assists as well, but the offense was really about Mike Rosario and Cheek, one of whom is a McDonald's All American and another who will be when he is a senior.  I've seen a few of his games this year, and he doesn't take many outside shots, but he has good form when he does.  He's very good at going to the basket, maybe the best guy on their team at that.

What stood out was his defense.  When I watched him before he was good, but it was hard to tell anything because of the competition he was playing.  This time he had a top level guy to guard, Tyreke Evans a top 10 recruit in the country who's still uncommitted.  When TT was on him, Evans couldn't do much.  TT basically shut him down the entire time and Evans only basket while Taylor was guarding him, was a ridiculous fall away 3 pointer.  TT forced him into bad shots, he forced him to give the ball up early and get it to less talented teammates.  Evans was only able to score when TT wasn't in the game or on breakaways off of St. Anthony turnovers before the defense could get back.  Though TT did a great job breaking up one of those as well, his team turned the ball over and TT wasn't anywhere near the play, but he raced downcourt after the ball and blocked a lay up against the backboard.

Its hard to tell whether or not he's ready to be a point guard, though in crunch time Hurley had him handling the ball which tells you what he thinks of the kid.  But I've seen them a few times now and they don't really have a true PG like you would think of it because of all the talent they have.  Sometimes its Rosario or Cheek. Sometimes its Taylor.  Sometimes its Jio Fontan(going to Fordham) sometimes its Travon Woodall(going to Pitt).  So they split the role among everyone, and because they run a DDM offense they've got a lot of guys with similar skill sets constantly switching roles.  Taylor seems to be a good kid and a great teammate willing to do the dirty work(defense, rebounding, passing), and let Rosario and Cheek carry the offensive load.  He does appear to be able to be a PG, he's got good handles and seemed to have a high basketball IQ.  But he may not be ready to be a PG right away next year.

seems like PG is still a position to fill and TT is an overall talent like mcneal - jack of all trades
