Except for the murder, rape and other assorted crimes.  I watch Yellowstone, pal.  No way I ever go to Montana until they elect officials serious about getting tough on crime

Montana is going to Helena handbasket.

Totally straying off topic here (me) but Caitlin is expected to be signed for a base salary of $76,000 with a potential bonus of $5150 if she's the rookie of the year.

Too bad she has zero eligibility left - she'd make more $ at Iowa.

NIT starts 3/19

Whatever happened to that Big East, Big 10, Big XII non-NCAA participant 16 team tourney in Vegas?

I think she could come back for another year if she wanted. I think she will do just fine with endorsements in the WNBA.

Or she could ink those same deals but instead of calling them NIL deals, we just call them sponsorships and product endorsements.

She isn't precluded from making more than her WNBA salary anymore than Lebron James is precluded from making only his NBA contract money.

The Sultan

Yes, she definitely could have returned for another year. I doubt she could have made more by staying at Iowa.

State Farm, Nike and Gatorade will be paying her "salary"

I read somewhere that almost all of her NIL sponsors are going to continue with her after she leaves Iowa.  Believe the annual figure was 900K a year.

Big game for Marquette's cause tips-off in a few minutes.  Need Wisconsin to introduce Maryland to darkness

Did my pun Kalispell on you?

(Yeah...that's a stretch.)
I have to Hannah it to you.  That was a pretty good Joe-k.

I am with you Hermie.  Not saying they will win it all, but have a good chance and I like teams that are on a roll going into the NCAAT.  They win ACC and if Tenn/Hou/Purdue happen to falter, UNC gets a #1 seed. Believe they have won 8 in a row now.

Badgers look like a Final 4 team.  Helps the Marquette cause.  Think they coast to a Big Ten title and get a 3-seed.  Gard just gets it done

Not at all.  Won't be surprised to see 4 Big Ten teams in the Final 4.  Them, Purdue, Sparty and Illinois
