I think they beat Purdue and win the Big Ten tournament.  I can see them getting a 2 seed

Will be interesting to see where this Temple story goes. Tonight wasn’t the only fishy line movement on a Temple game over the last month. I doubt their game this weekend is on any board.

My biggest takeaway from the UW vs Rutgers game (aside from the fact that Wahl and Crowl are just not very good and miss a lot of bunnies) is that Gavin Griffiths will probably end up at UCONN, maybe as soon as next year.  They mentioned on the broadcast that he was recruited by the Huskies, but looking at their roster, he was blocked for playing time this year.  He was the No. 20 recruit in the country and he’s from the state.  Will be interesting to see if he transfers.

Not so sure about Griffiths.  He had Bama and Creighton offers too that he turned down for Rutgers.  Must have liked something about what Pickell was doing in NJ, not so sure he'd jump straight away.  And pretty sure UCONN is gonna have incoming replacement talent at his level, probably higher, that is gonna present a similar issue given his slow start to his career.

Just came here to see if anyone had mentioned this yet.  Just saw while scrolling Twitter. This could be bad for CBB if true.

Bart Lundy and Milwaukee to Horizon semifinals on Monday to face Keeyan and No KY.  Happy for both of them.

Lundy can coach. Milwaukee is a very difficult job- almost no local fan base, indifferent alumni, mediocre at best facilities, shadow of MU, etc. He took over a dumpster fire and has made them instantly competitive.  Hope they win the tournament.

After a pretty rough start to the year, they've gotten hot at the right time.

The opposite of UWGB. Apparently they were playing some games and kept moving UWM's practice time around and the league had to get involved. Their new coach, Sundance Wicks, is a bit of a charlatan who won't last long there.

Interesting. I was wondering why there was no handshake line at the end of the game last night.

First time I've heard Wicks described that way though. Seems like he did a heck of a job with very limited talent outside of Reynolds.

Good point, they had a poor start and looked like it may be another lost, forgettable season for that program. All about improving and playing your best now.

Didn’t know about league having to step in because of what GB was doing. I agree about Wicks.  Thought he seemed like a bit of an oddball.  But that was a dumpster fire too he took over and also made them more than competitive right away.  Will be interesting how he ends up doing there.

Both programs seem in pretty good hands, which has pretty much never been the case at the same time. I really have no doubt that Lundy is a very solid coach.

Charlatan might be a strong word, but I am still not convinced he is there for the long run. Real Buzzesque vibes.

Reynolds was originally going to transfer to Madison, but backed out and went to GB when Wicks hired his older brother as an assistant. Rumors are that he is going to transfer again but would have to sit out a year.
