Buzz to Mich. St!!!

I didn’t think so but that job might open.  Rumblings out there he might be ready to retire.  Don’t believe them but they sure would be a frustrating team to coach

I heard a reporter (can't remember who) that spoke to Izzo this week and he confirmed he will be back.

Obviously, he has reached the point where this will be a conversation every year going forward. The end is near but not this year.

Tripped and pushed

Listen to Tower. Your video was in slow motion. In real time, the kid was coming at him and he was defending himself. I commend Filipowski for not taking the kid out.

I can only imagine what the reaction would be if Creighton upsets MU and a student runs into Oso and Oso tears up his knee. All these people defending these idiotic students would be calling for the DA in Omaha to charge the guilty party with assault.

The floor belongs to the players. Anyone running on the floor without permission is putting themselves in harm's way and bears 100% responsibility.

There is a really interesting case happening in the AAC. You have South Florida 21-5 ranked #25, you have FAU 21-7, make last years final four, unranked.

South Florida Net of 100
FAU Net of 58.

There is a good chance both teams win out bringing the records to 24-5 and 24-7 respectively. Neither net is even close to worthy of making the tournament. One team will more than likely be left out if they do not win the conference tournament. So you are either leaving out a team that could push top 20 ranking or leave out a team that made last years final four with basically the same team. Yes, I know last years team means nothing but it does make this scenario very interesting.

Bilas is usually smart and insightful, but this is an incredibly dumb idea.
Curious to hear his thoughts on the logistics of arresting a few hundred people (or more) all at once. Will arenas need holding cells? A few dozen cops patrolling the sidelines?

Yes. I am sure there will be no outrage whatsoever when a university helps to detain and cite a few hundred of its students.

.

A few hundred lol more like a few thousand. There's not a chance they don't run. I know its been a few years since Bilas played but did he forget how college kids act?

Let's just face it. This didn't become an issue for Bilas until it became an issue for Duke.

And I'm sure police departments would be eager to get involved. They've got nothing more important to deal with.

Lets also face the fact that both Clarke and Filipowski initialed the contact in both instances and sold it like a flop.

Like his solution or not (and I don't), Bilas has spoken against storming the court for quite some time - including a few weeks ago when Caitlin Clark got run into by a fan ... which obviously had nothing to do with Duke.
