I’ve met Self multiple times, he’s extremely personable and unselfish with his time.

Totally agree about Self. Just a good guy.

I don't know Calipari at all, but he seems OK, too.

Has there ever been 5 top 10 teans in any TG tournament before?

No, this is the best MTE field ever.

Apparently someone either on USC or in the media disparaged the Anteaters?

Who's less likable Self or Cal?

Self, by far.

How would Jokic do against Dickinson?

I think the 2 time NBA MVP, 1 time Finals MVP would do just fine against the college kid whose game doesn’t translate to the NBA and can’t defend in space.

Texas' Dylan Disu (foot) is "definitely making positive progress", but still has no timetable for a return, per a school spokesman.

Has yet to play this season.

Averaged 22.5 PPG and 10 RPG in two NCAA Tournament games last March.

Longhorns host Rice tonight in Austin.

Georgetown down 6 at half to Rutgers.  We’re down 13 at one point.

Watching UCLA. Bona looks like a lot to handle.

Mara seems pretty weak with the ball. When running the Golden Bear, Ben would have his way with him

Bona is going to destroy us on the glass. Their defensive length really makes the court look small. Going to have to get their bigs moving out on the perimeter when we are on offense. Should be a close one.

My favorite part of today's UCLA game was that former Badger Tai Stickland was on LIU's roster. Tai Strickland is famous because Buckyville once declared that the reason DJ Carton choose Marquette was because he was scared that he couldn't get playing time over Stickland.

UCLA went 0/6 from 3 tonight for the entire game and only 2 guys even shot them.

We need to pressure the bigs, force UCLA to shoot like Illinois and hope they dont randomly get hot and we will be just fine.

UCLA has played of worst teams in college basketball so far. Over that stretch they have dropped double digit spots in KenPom because of how poorly they played against garbage competition. I think we spank them.

They were missing their starting PG, Dylan Andrews who is the closest thing they have to a good 3P shooter. When asked why he didn't play, Cronin said "Coach's decision". No idea what that means or if he'll be available for Maui. They're PG play is shaky enough with him.

I wish it were at Maui. For whatever reason, small gyms always seem to favor teams with good 3 point shooting. The close backdrop always seems to bode well for those teams. I think there is a scenario where we blow them out, but they have some real mismatches. Should be a fun one.

I wouldn't classify 10,300 seating capacity small for this year's Maui invitational.

A Radford or GT type destroying?
