Watching the Arizona/Duke game. How is the San Diego St transfer on Arizona allowed to wear number 16? I thought you had to be 0-5 for every number. Did they change the rules?

Major and important rule change for this year.   Thankfully the NCAA has been fairly “stern” on the two time transfer revised rules
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

I don’t think Storr will work out for them. That’s an odd fit.

I struggle to find something as comparable of a fall as Louisville.  Its only been 5 years since Pitino left.  In his last 5 seasons, they had a Natty, an E8, a S16, and finished 15/16 as a top 3 seed when they self banned themselves from the NCAA.

The Mack years were disappointing by Ville standards, but even with the sanctions/scandals they weren't catastrophic.  But my god.  They were abysmal last year and somehow got even worse.

They lost to a D2 school a few weeks ago, and not just any D2 school, one that has went .500 the last 2 seasons and was projected middle of their conference at best and who got PELTED by 30 by WKU.  Now they barely squeak by a middling low major team and then get beat by double digits at home to a team thats projected middle to bottom of the SoCon.  Probably gonna be hard pressed to top their 2 ACC wins of last year.

That program went to hell as soon as they de-emphasized the use of strippers and hookers as part of their high school recruiting formula under Pitino.

MADISON -- Freshman forward Gus Yalden, who took a leave of absence from the Wisconsin men's basketball team last week, has been cited twice this fall by UW-Madison Police.

Yalden was cited for underage drinking during the football team's opener on Sept. 2.

He was cited for marijuana possession in his dorm on Oct. 29.

UW officials announced Nov. 1 that Yalden was taking a leave of absence to address a personal family matter.

Yalden returned to practice Wednesday.

"Today is his first day back," coach Greg Gard said. "Getting him back to practice was step one of what he is going through."

I actually think they can effectively use a guy like that. Johnny Davis was great there because he added a level of dynamism and ability to play at a faster tempo that they typically don't have. If they end up being the top 15 team some think they can be Storr will be the reason. I still think they're more 30-40, but I can see him changing their ceiling.

Giving up 80 to Tennessee at home is an eye-opener for me.  Vols are a good team that typically plays slower tempo.  Game was a 71-possession game at Troll and looking at the highlights, sure seemed like they didn’t have any issues getting to the rim and had a lot of good looks against Madison.

Think they’ll have nights where baskets fall and they blow some teams out but competent defensive teams like Tennessee will make them look ugly on offense

You forgot the UNC-Wilmington at Wofford women's game at 3 p.m. (2 CT) on ESPN+

Believe it or not, I will be checking that one out (though probably later on demand) because a player I coached starts for UNCW.

Symir Torrence’s 10 points weren’t enough for Binghamton as they fell 89-60 to Pittsburgh last nite.
