Wisconsin hits the century mark with 3 plus minutes left.  Shooting 66% from the field.
Wisky gave up 76 to Arkansas St.?!?! :o

Sparty 1-21 from 3 in their loss.    Joey should have stuck around.

James Madison hadn't beaten a top 25 team since 1992.  Wow.... just wow.

James Madison hadn't beaten a top 25 team since 1992.  Wow.... just wow.

And even then, it was a No. 19 Cal team (with Jason Kidd). They've never beaten a team in the top 18 - much less the top five.

Fantastic win for JMU.

And this is why even though I wanted to to see MU beat the spread, I'll "settle" for a 22 point win.

Have to think cell phones and social media are what caused Michigan State to lose last night.

In addition to the the Izzo-first-ever-home-loss-in-November stat, here's some fun facts from Yahoo Sports:

++ Entering Monday, JMU was 1-42 all-time vs. ranked opponents.

++ MSU shot 1-for-20 from behind the arc.

++ Michigan State is the first top-5 team to lose its opener against an unranked opponent since 2005. In '05 it also was Sparty with that distinction; they lost to Hawaii.

++ Family ties... JMU assistant coach Matt Bucklin is Izzo's nephew. Thanksgiving could get awkward.

Just saw Bucky's schedule over the next 8 games. Absolutely brutal. #9 Tennessee, #5 Marquette, Virginia, West Virginia, #5 Michigan St, #12 Arizona.  Honestly this is what a non conference schedule should look like.

Crown them. No point showing up 12/9

This is unquestionably true. In fact, I can say with certainty Marquette will not show up to play Wisconsin on 12/9.
