Back in Milwaukee, not a ton of inventory based on the STH presale today, unless MU is holding seats back. At this point season tickets and mini plans have been on sale for awhile, so I'm not sure why they would.

I don't know what the record for MU's average attendance is, but I gotta think there's a good chance it falls this year.

Same experience - my initial thought was when I saw the available seats was "the general public is not going to have much to choose from"

Not bad at all. The stadium is small relative to what we are accustomed to with the Bradley Center/Fiserv. Great stadium to see a game, with no bad seats. Very cool that it is right on campus too. Concourses/concessions can be a little tight, but overall as far as game viewing and atmosphere it is great.

Section 215 is where most of the visitor inventory is.  A nice bar terrace there at the top overlooking the floor. As to viewing, it's a bit steep like an old baseball stadium or the BC but not bad.

I think this will be a record year on the resale market with STHs scooping up the packs to sell.

When I picked single games, NMD had less selection than ND. And neither had many together. I note that MU has been stressing their resale service in communication whereas it was a footnote before.

Btw, that Tickmaster app gives me angina. What a piece of clunky crap.

A noted change this year: the complimentary non-con tickets can't be picked individually.  You fill out a survey and won't find out until the week before the game if you got seats and where they are.

This makes sense as MU wants to sell as many tickets as they can before allocating the complimentary tickets. And I assume the higher money donors will get the best complimentary seats.

Gotta profit when MUBB is good.

Those who have been to the Cintas Center:

How are the 200-level seats? Still a decent vantage point? Too far away? OK? Awful?

I've been 3 or 4 times and sat in the 200s every time. The seats were totally fine. Had no complaints. I plan on going back this year and will most likely be in the 200s again

Already looking forward to it!
Bring back FFP!!!

I made the trip to Cincy every year during the KO era and had a blast. Ran into Majerus one time when he is in the IR due to health reasons.
Have to admit I think I might have been over served during to my trips to Cincy. That said, had a ton of fun.

If you are a sports fan and a beer drinking and bar hopping kind of guy ( and I check both boxes), Cincinnati is a very underrated city, IMO. Love going to Cincy in the summer for Brewers/Reds games. Hot Friday night in June; standing on the open-air right field concourse looking down on the Ohio River with an ice cold Yuengling Tall Boy in hand. Can you picture it??

Thanks to you, Dr. B and SW for answering. Given the inventory, we'll probably buy in the 200s too.

Already have our Butler tix and we're planning on going to GT as well. And of course a couple of home games. Exciting times for MU hoops fans!

At Cintas I sat in the 200 level for an MU game and it was fine. The place only seats about 11,000 and has kind of a bandbox feel---you're always on top of the action. Besides, unless you're buying in the secondary market, "better" seats would be pretty hard to come by.

At Hinkle, get there early enough to walk around the lower concourse and soak up all of the history. Very much worth it. The Fenway Park of college basketball.

I happen to check both boxes. I agree on Cincy being a fun town. Have been to number of Reds games over the years and always enjoyed myself. Even enjoyed myself in Covington over the years.

Believe it or not, I got to play some pickup games at Hinkle about 25 years ago. It was a blast ... even though my selfish teammates didn't run the Picket Fence play for me!

My buddies and I have gone there twice for MU games, including last year's Big East clincher. Ran into a few Scoopers in the bar just down the block from Hinkle. It's been a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

Just don't make the mistake of buying tickets on the sunny side of the stadium during a day game for the Reds.

Wunderbar in Covington, KY.
There's a Hofbrauhaus in Newport, KY (across the river).

Anyone else having issues with the presale? The email from Tuesday said there would be an email sent at the selection time, but I've received nothing today. On the "My Marquette Account" page there is no way to access single game tickets for the presale that was supposed to start 10 minutes ago...

I had the same issue at the 10am time this morning - I did not receive the email. I called the MU ticket office and they said they would notify the marketing department. About 30 min later, I got the email with the link to request my comped tickets.

Maybe I missed the communication, but was it ever communicated that the process was different this year? Request vs. Pick the seats? Incredibly confusing.

Just out of curiosity how does one identify fellow scoopers?  Hand shake, a nod and a wink?

Subtle groin grab.

Known at one time, as I recall, as the ol' Badger handshake.

Oops...I was using the nutknuckle.  That explains some of the funny looks.

Misshapen head, Boo Radley appearance. Occasionally grunt-mutters "more beer".

X, Cincinnati trip, perhaps a bourbon trail tour?  Hmmm, we might be on to something.
