I appreciate the praise from Fanta, but this is pretty shallow analysis.  Kolek is good. Jones and Oso are back.  Joplin primed for a big role. Sophomores likely to make a jump.  This is literally what every CBB writer has said about us this off-season.

He knows a lot more than just ball, he's excellent at all of his sports coverage.  I heard an interview with him with Frank Isola on NBA Radio a few months ago.  He was covering the Peach Jam or whatever it's called which had hs players.  He's really knowledgeable and versatile about a wide range of college sports and especially the BEast.

No mention of Stevie………always the overlooked guy.

I’m not a huge Fanta fan……..I’ve seen him on Field of 68……….to much over the top stuff for me……

Agreed. A lot of words, but said nothing. #Content

For the people complaining, what do you think the guy is supposed to do for a 90 second video being shared on Twitter?

He's not really talking to an audience of knowledgeable Marquette fans, nor is he trying to do anything in-depth.

It's a quick blurb to a national audience just saying, "Don't sleep on last year's Big East champs. They could be even better this season."

Not sure why anybody would find fault with it.

Not complaining. Just not something I’d highlight or celebrate, as has been done here.

Agreed. It is directed to a mass audience who may not be completely familiar with the team like Scoopers are. Personally, it got me even more fired up for the season.

John Fanta is a resume you show your kids.  Shows up at Seton Hall with a face for radio and just hustles his way into national prominence.

Similar to MU alum Jenny Fisher.  Both worked their tails off in college and built incredible networks before they even graduated.

They are the blueprint.
