TKo (11) and Oso (7) were the two top SOTG recipients last year. I think it's reasonable to think that they could repeat in those positions, but I'm also interested to see who people think will be third. Will it be one of the three who tied with two SOTG last season (Kam, Jop, and Stevie)? Or will someone else emerge?
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Herman Cain

There has been a long history of robbing SOTG from kids from Memphis . Started with JJJ and now Kam.

I think that we will be more successful this year if it is Jop, rather than  Kam.

More than anyone else, I think Jop's season determines how successful MU will be. When he's cooking they're very tough to beat.

If he really is improved defensively, we should be really good because offensively he is a better player than Omax.  I look forward to seeing this new improved Joplin.  Shaka always said he was going to lead the league in scoring before he was done and this could be the year.  With him, Ben and Chase stepping up this team is deep and experienced.  Wish the season started today.

I think Kam takes Oso's spot (because Gold will play more) and Kolek and Jop.   Jop will step up as a starter

Jop

Jokes aside - Jop is poised for a HUGE year. Moving into a starting role will work wonders for him. I predict we won't see much if any of a drop of from jop stepping into omax role. He's not the athlete omax is however his defensive awareness improves a ton and he has a much better feel for the game on the offensive end.

With Tyler and oso running two man game, jop will have a ton of opportunity for clean looks and 1v1 scoring.
