MU Kids BBall Camp
« on: June 19, 2023, 08:05:23 AM »
Taking my son up for camp next week at MU.  Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or pointers for the camp itself or stuff in an around campus?  Our first time on campus in awhile, and i want to be sure we make the most of it.

Thanks

The jokes will come.  But not yet from me.  Tell them to enjoy every minute.

I would just plan on being able to watch Championship Friday.  They'll play tournament games before and after lunch.  If your son's team makes a run, it can be fun to watch the final game or two.

Wojo ran a great camp (Thanks Barb, thanks Allison) and Shaka has only improved it.

I know since they lost the Rec Center courts they're shuttling kids to a couple offsite HS gyms nearby. As far as stuff to do on campus... not a ton, honestly.

Yea i figured that.  We are taking a tour, but will probably just kill time other places during the day.

The updates that they’ve made around the St Joan of Arc chapel are really nice and recommend seeing them. I’m guessing that will be covered on the tour.
