Sincerely don't intend this to become a thread for partisan bickering. Just an interesting story about one of our most notable fellow alums.

I am generally against celebrity politicians.

Maybe Wade/Hill should run against BIden/Harris?

I think it's good when our alums find high profile success. Seems good to me.

I like Wade as a basketball player. I do not agree with his politics.

Sen. Wade would do a lot better than Marquette's last Senator .. McCarthy.

If only a certain elected official spent less time on sports message boards and more time forcibly annexing Glendale and it's Arby's tax dollars...

I could probably get behind a revolution that gets rid of all the politicians from the past 30 years.

Nothing done except themselves getting richer.

Yeah anyone who gets involved in politics becomes instantly less likeable in my eyes.

Annexing is for sissies.   We're massing troops.

Aye, fight and you may die. Run and you'll live, at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just ONE chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never re-take our Arby's!

People get the politicians they want. People want politicians who make themselves richer.
