He said it twice, and it wasn’t like it was taken out of context.  Sprinkled in some religious stereotyping for good measure.  He should absolutely be fired.  But I think WVU suspends him for some significant portion of the beginning of the season (5 games or so), makes him pay a fine, and then gets the ball rolling on an offseason retirement.  Their big boosters won’t go for a firing (I work with one who gives a ton to the program, so I know.  Ironically, he’s an HR exec).

I think you are right. I also think Huggy is headed in a direction that will result in worse conduct, because he'll be emboldened by not getting fired, and result in major embarrassment for WVU and the AD loosing his job.

The only comparison I intended was that both are unacceptable to use in public discourse. If you use one or the other in a derogatory way, as Huggins clearly did, I don't expect it will go well for you.

 For anyone who thinks Gordon Gee, WVU's president, is going to do anything about Huggy, you may want to read the wikipedia account of him. It's locked or I would list it here. Check out his tenures at a number of universities and the reasons he "left". Wow!
