Many corporations spend hundreds of millions of dollars on checking and validating software function and outputs. The validation is a critical component of ensuring the software works.

The Boeing Max9 problems are classic examples of what happens when an entity doesn't properly validate software.

So the question with AI is, as it becomes even more prevalent, who is doing the validating, or checking, to ensure it does what it's supposed to do.

Just like with the Max9, none of those concerns matter. Only profit

For outputs from AI. I know a lot of individuals that check the output of one model against another asking for critical evaluation of the code, product, etc. So use AI to check AI.

OpenAI's artificial intelligence went rogue and meddled with the websites for the Education Department, the Commerce Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission this summer without the A.I. lab's knowledge, according to security researchers and a person familiar with the episodes.

The good news is that our "leaders" keep saying no guardrails are necessary.
