Vander

I have no idea if Omax will have a longer, or better, pro career than Lewis, but he is definitely a far better prospect, imo. He has all of the ingredients to be a very good pro player and time will tell how it plays out.

I was just commenting on some aspects of the comparison and not who was the better pro prospect.

I wouldn’t agree that Omax is a “far” better prospect but he does fit more of what the league looks for.

It does feel like OMax should be a better rebounder than he is at the college level considering his size, length and athleticism.

I would disagree with that.

OMax is taller, better with the ball, better shooter, better defender.

I think OMax has a chance to get drafted whenever it is that he decides to enter.

I wasn’t very clear in my post. I also prefer OMax to Lewis as an NBA prospect long-term. But compared to Lewis declaring after his sophomore year, I think Prosper has a significantly lower chance of getting drafted or accruing significant minutes his first year in the pros if he leaves now. Though maybe that’s overrating the analysis of draft prognosticators.

Omax will be a draft combine superstar. He can dominate in college with the skills he already possesses (athleticism/length)

But - He will greatly improve with a year or two of professional competition, playing lots of games and focusing completely on basketball.

He needs to challenge himself to improve and I don’t think he’ll see those significant improvements playing another two years in college.
