MU should be a bit higher in the AP poll.

The typical media hype behind Duke mainly from the ESPN rose them an amazing 9 spots in the AP poll!  They've had a nice run but have not dominated and they played their Tourney in their back yard in Greensboro. We played 2 essentially "road" games at MSG and against a UConn team that would easily handle Duke.  The Coaches had it correct. MU #4, Duke #21.

Bottom line-ESPN wants to highlight Duke- more interest/viewers= more revenue. MU doesn't have much draw at least not yet.

Yeah, if all those ESPN guys are correct and MU ends up playing Duke in the Elite Eight, I hope that they have that clip of every single one of them picking Duke over MU playing on a clip in the MU locker room. F*ck 'Em!
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

I chuckle when Scheyer gets all this praise because all of the 5 stars got healthy.  There'll be plenty of Duke love one the next week or two - some of it is warranted, but also some over the top.

Bottom line is correct. ESPNs Duke/ACC bias is obvious. Dickie V. has choked on Duke forever.

Can we start getting some fox sports bias?

One of the guys (forget who) on ESPNU last night pulled back the curtain and stated that MU and the Big East don't get much coverage because they are not in the ESPN family.

Maybe he got in trouble for saying that. It is an obvious truth that torpedoes the façade of ESPN being a sports news/journalistic outlet.

What is ESPN? Entertainment 1st and even that is debatable. Can we talk Aaron Rodgers? and then there is Dookie Vitale. I believe most on this board are done with his shtick

ESPN has been going downhill ever since Disney bought them.

Big, long hill then.   Disney bought them in 1996 when they bough ABC.   Just saying.... But they are not as good as they used to be for sure.

The Sultan

They've been going downhill for the last 27 years. 😂😂😂

ESPN is a total disaster with the exception of live MU games.

Tums Festival

ESPN has always been biased.

Fox isn't much better.

ESPN's been quite kind to MU this year.

tower912

In the Bilas bracket show, a number of ESPN personalities put MU in the final 4.  So, yes, ESPN was kind to MU today.

ESPN broke up the Big East hoping the ACC would take its place as the premier basketball conference. Now it looks like the ACC may be the conference taking its last gasp.

And then the ACC tried to flex their muscles by taking MSG for their conference tourney. ESPN and ACC are like the glove giving a butt a rectal exam.

Preach. I heard Mickey is undergoing gender transformation and will soon go by Michelle. The children are confused and asking questions. It's terrible.
