Silent Verbal

Tonight was a statement game.  They came in with the intention of demoralizing Xavier to show everyone who the best team in the conference really was, and they did it.  Whether they're a 2 or 3 seed, I think they do the same in the first round of the NCAAs.  Whoever plays them will be running into a buzz saw.

Boston Warrior

Really impressed, they could make some noise in ncaa. Freshman are growing up, o max and Stevie are lock down defenders, Tyler improving rapidly as a scorer, jop improving his ability to play defense. People saying bully ball will beat them don't know their heart!

Look out ncaa!!

Rico

You have seen their D in stretches and knew they could play lockdown D. Defense will win then a game in NCAA and the bench another one. These guys can play D and I think they can play better D.

Got a bit emotional during Shaka's speech.

You and me both.

After 45 years since we were last this good, through all the ups and downs, we stuck with them. And so, with more confidence than ever before, we can honestly say...

WE'RE BACK!!!!!

Goose

We are back and watching Shaka brought tears to me eyes. I hope every MU fan is proud tonight.

ATL MU Warrior

I am amazed at how freaking good this team is.

I am having trouble processing how good we could be in the future.

Hell yeah!!!!!

forgetful

Well, if Baylor gets a 2-seed ahead of us, it will put a chip on the teams shoulder.

If everybody comes back, we could see quite a few games like this.

BTW - it won't be a 9th place prediction next year.  ;D

I'll take a 3-seee in the region with Baylor

Whatever gives us a chip, I'm in favor of.

Guaranteed a Number 1 or 2 Seed:

Alabama
Purdue
Houston
Kansas
Texas
UCLA

Leaves: Two spots left

MU
Arizona
Baylor
Gonzaga ?

Arizona if they beat UCLA in PAC12 tournament. If they lose, MU should pass Arizona.
No way should Baylor beat out MU, a conference champ and who beat Baylor.

So, changed my prediction to MU with #2 seed designation.

It wouldn't surprise me

I don't want that pressure, 2 seed seems very right for this team, and still allows them to be a bit under the radar.

GoldenEagles03

There is 0 reason for Marquette to be behind Baylor.

Absolutely none.

This is a guy whose opinions I value more than Lunardi's.

Well, I've mentioned this before:  If by chance that #2 seed comes down to MU or Baylor the committee is going to have a really tough time choosing Baylor.  My take is if Zona loses tonight we're a lock #2.  If they win it's either us or Gonzaga.

jficke13

1 seed? No.

2 seed? No.

3 seed? Not a chance.

Give us a 16 seed and we'll just put Kansas down by 20 a couple weeks ahead of schedule.

1 seed..fook 'em
Agreed. Just for curiosity how many BEast teams have in the same year won both regular season and tourney and what was their Dance seeding?
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Two seed, Three seed who the heck cares. We are going to the Tournament and make some noise.
If we are a three, we most likely play a two in the Elite 8. Much better being a two and getting to play a three.

Hate pulling for Mick Cronin, but it must be done.

RushmoreAcademy

2 seed or we turn them down and go to the NIT.
