I was pretty sure the last shot was an air ball not off the backboard but what do I know?

Shot was clearly short.
Jordan Hawkins jumped backwards away from Kam.
If Hawkins jumped into Kam or straight up, maybe Hawkins could have got the foul.
Kam was guarding him closely.
In any case, it ended up a great decision for Marquette that he took a fadeaway from behind the three-point line.

Keep in mind we won this game scoring 7 points after Kam's kiss the sky J at the 7:50 mark.  MU had to deal with major foul trouble, missed many open looks, and still beat UCONN.
