UConn fans think they are getting hosed by the refs
Lots of missed calls against MU

Mostly consistent but the last part of the half was pretty one-sided.

And Omax got fouled 48 times on that last possession

That was some rough stuff under the basket. Foul most foul. Nothing called. Marquette not coming unglued. Determination.

They must have fowled Omax at least 3 times.

UConn got a handful of bounces, heaves, and calls, but MU held tough, and outside two terrible sags on threes, I thought played very well on D. Couple smarter shots, couple threes go down, couple sleepy D possessions back and we are handily in control. Gotta keep up the intensity and play a touch smarter.

Excellent first half. Need to keep pressuring Hawkins and keeping him out of the game. Don't leave those corners open and we can win this thing.

Second foul on Kolek hurt, cause he was on a roll. The Pissed Off look on his face sitting on the bench was classic.

The High Stepper ref is a jerk, but he seems to be consistently a jerk. By now we should understand he will call that pushing off every time.

UConn has hit 5 open threes from the side because MU doubled and UConn  then kicked out pass.

Last one was on Omax.  Two UConn subs had three threes, wide open.

Two starters from UConn sat out 10 minutes (yes foul trouble) and the subs played great.  Oso and Kolek sat out last four. 

Hit the threes, no sloppy turnovers and will look good.  Great physical game.

Now, back to the refs suck and they want UConn to win.

Last 5 minutes was like 8 fouls in Marquette 1 or 2 on UConn

My only complaint is that one ref is calling fouls from out of position. I'd be ok if one of the guys in position, whose actual role it is to call those fouls called them, but they didn't.

There were some bad calls each way. The only egregious series was the one possession where we were regularly hammered...multiple fouls on shots and none of them were called. That is the only one that really stands out as really bad, especially given that Oso got his 2nd on a reach where he had all ball, and then those clear hacks were not called.

I think they didn't like the acting job by Omax, and they just decided to swallow their whistles on the one possession.

You forgot to put fouls in quotes. Offensive foul on Kolek, clean block by Jop and tap out by Gold were all ridiculous calls. I'm sure I'm forgetting others. And that's not to mention the non calls on UConn

Jeffrey Anderson has a beef with Shaka...and he has been the ref calling the fouls from out of position on MU...and then OMax absolutely gettting hacked, CLEARLY right in front of him and no call.  Laughable.
