I stopped by the Spirit Shop yesterday and saw they were selling The Rise of Dwyane Wade DVD.

Looked like it primarily dealt with the Heat but the back said it had Marquette parts as well.

$24.95

Dwyane Wade has enjoyed overwhelming success in just four short seasons in the NBA. But the path to greatness wasn't always easy for Dwyane. Follow Dwyane's unpredictable and stunning path to greatness, from his early years learning the game in Illinois, to his development as an overlooked high school star, to his rise to excellence at Marquette, and finally, his elevation to stardom in the NBA.

Editor's Note

Some call him Flash, others D-Wade, but whatever people refer to him as, Dwyane Wade is an unstoppable force in the NBA. This program highlights his unlikely rise from a late draft pick all the way to his phenomenal success as an all-star. This fascinating profile includes tons of footage from his amazing career, spanning from his college days to his stellar performance in the 2005-6 Finals. Wade fans won't be let down by this dynamic presentation of a true master of the net.

If in 8:00 P.M. you mean eastern standard time you sir are correct.

Pretty good DVD.  Starts out with Wade living in a rough neghiborhood of Chicago and the family problems he faced.

Goes into his time at Richards with some pretty good footage I'd never seen before.  At one point he blocks a guy going for a layup, they kick the ball out and Wade then blocks the three attempt.

Next it talks about his season he sat out at Marquette and then goes into the 2003 season.  A lot more Marquette footage then I expected from games throughout the season.

Next it goes into the NBA Draft, his rookie season, his sophomore season (including the Heat's run through the playoffs), and his finals MVP season.

Special features include the top 10 plays of his career and his top 10 playoff moments.

There is a special feature called where it all began that I am about to watch.

Overall a great DVD.
