Today we journey to Marquette's version of the multiverse and dig in to three losses on Marquette's resume and how they would've changed things had they been wins. While any loss turned into a win would improve your resume, we look deeper at the Fort Myers game that would've dramatically shifted Marquette's Q1+2 record as well as the one loss that had Marquette held on would've put them in contention for the 1-seed line today. Where one question changes everything, today we ask...What If?

(Along with some general bracketology notes and a new S-Curve and bracket)

Thanks Brew! I like the what if scenarios.  It is a shame we lost a few early that were winnable but this team has found a way to close and that's a good sign.  Hopefully Hall and Villanova keep moving up and a 2 seed is possible.  Just keep winning!

I'll be honest, I'm not really that worried about seed with this team. With the acknowledgment that no NCAA game is easy, we should survive a 3/14 matchup. After that, you're going to have to beat a good team to get to the second weekend, whether it's a 6-seed Arkansas (like this projection) or a team like Texas A&M or Illinois that the 2-seed Pac-12 teams are slated to play. And once you get to the second weekend, it's all top seeds or hot Cinderellas.

Kentucky a 5! They really turned it up.

and I gotta say, without spoiling anything for people looking... I do not like our second round draw. Not now that they are almost back to full strength.

I even considered them for the 4-line. It's really close from 16-23 and the Kentucky at Arkansas game on Saturday could be for a 4-seed.

I also don't want anything to do with Arkansas. Them and TCU seem like very dangerous teams outside the top-16.
