Kam, it's his Birthday, and he nailed a lot of threes that we needed.

Kam in the 1st half, but Tyler in the 2nd half and especially when it mattered most. His clutch free throws won the game for us.  Tyler SOTG -- 22 pts. and 14 assists.

I'm not sure if it's Collick, Cowlick, or Caulk, but I think Steven Bardo used all three to refer to the SOTG.

knee jerk would be kam, but clearly TK

he lets the game come to him and only reacts to whats in front of him at the moment.  nothing scripted

TK coming to marquette has been a match made in b-ball heaven.  think about it-if he goes anywhere else, would he have the type of success or would he have been given the opportunities??
this is a shaka-TK match where these 2 guys understand each other and click.  this is going to be fun to watch for a few more years

also gotta love the humility from a 21 year old.  he is garnering more and more national respect and so deservedly so.

this is a shaka team going back to his VCU days-he's got all of them bought in.  no one strays from the team goals

we're not done yet

He should. BEast champion that won because Kolek put team on his back for last half of season. Given where the powers said MU would finish 9th best in conference, Kolek is like Neo in Matrix series HE IS THE ONE

I'm not sure "humility" is an word I would associate with Tyler Kolek.

why not?  because he shows some emotion?  he's not particularly demonstrative except in the right situations.  he a business-like leader.  he doesn't put much/any spotlight on himself; he's a team guy.   he passes up many shooting opportunities; too much in my opinion.  if you ask him, i'm sure he'd much rather have more assists than points

assertively humble?

Shaka preaches humility - why?  Because it means “a modest or low view of one's own importance” - and the whole is greater than the sum of the parts fits right in with that.   No ONE is important on the team - the TEAM ( the whole) is important!

Agree, but I prefer the word synergy. It gets right to the heart of the matter in one word.

No doubt, it’s TYKO again.  22 and 14, with 11 of 12 from the line, gets it done.

I get it… but it does not have the mental buy-in that humility does…..

Am I taking crazy pills here???

I love Kam. But how can anyone choose him over TK.

Kam went bonkers in the 1H.............when TK had ELEVEN assists.

Then in the 2nd half the only player who had any idea a game was even still going on was........TK.

There is objectively only one answer

Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

So you’re saying Tyler was selfish in the second half because he only had 3 assists!  ;D ;D ;D
