I have said it before, there will be more talented teams in the Shaka era, but quite possibly never a better “team”. That is why they need to push as hard as possible and take advantage of what could be a dream season. Seasons like this happen very infrequently in a lifetime and I am betting on them making a lot more noise before The Masters.

If they win out the regular season they'd be at 25-6 heading into the BET.

The Program record for wins in a season is 28 in 1970-71.  That would be within reach.

I most interested in setting a team record for number of wins in one season in the NCAA.

it is possible to be thankful and complimentary to the current team without ripping on former players.  I dont understand why that is so hard for some people.

I agree with all of this. But there's a light side and a dark side to irrationality as a fan. Turn away from the dark side!

It is not right, and this is no defense, but I hold #mubb so close to me (like I relate to Goose tearing up when he gets his whole fam to a game) that occasionally I lash out for the 7 years we suffered since Buzz.

To paraphrase Tower, that is my glitch.

You and your family have lived MU basketball longer than you have been alive and your love of MU is awesome. Looks like you had a great family moment last night with another guy not afraid to tear up. You are a lucky guy to enjoy a moment like last night.

Speaking of glitches, I have 3 out 4 of tower’s glitches.

I know the program is in good shape because I would think Omax would be the only glitch to some fans this year. There really has been no negative talk about any player, with the exception of Omax.

I think Jop gets his unfair share.

Great addition. Completely forgot about Joplin. He gets jabbed on par with Omax, or even a bit more.

Stevie (the Sophomore) in Boum's (Graduate Senior) face saying "I'M NOT LEAVING!"

Next level gamesmanship from the kid! Love it.

As you know,I am a big Omax guy but the falling down is definitely something he needs to control. If I did not like what he brings defensively so much, I would be jabbing on the falling down.

The converse to that is Jop doesn't fall down cause he is never more than 2 inches off the ground   :D

However, I converted to a big Jop fan mid-season.

I love Joplin in the paint and I think he scored six down low last night. No kidding on the vertical leap on him.

Yep my wife and I ended up in a suite so we handed the tix to our son & my Dad.  The old man was impressed and he's a tough one to impress bc he was courtside from '69-'73.

Watching us play, I was wondering why I never fell down in my high school playing days.  You just nailed it.

Wojo picked the style, not Markus. That's what I don't get

...and perhaps it is the reason that the Hausers left which after all the gnashing of teeth was a blessing in disguise.

I think that was a convenient cover story for why they left.

I could never make myself like Gardner.
I thought Joey was petulant and immature, but kept it to myself for the most part until he left.   Plus, he might grow out of it.
Merritt always irked me.
I thought Jamil left some opportunities out there.

I recognize these are my glitches.

I will say he is most like Jamil Wilson with even bigger upside, that is why.
