Well, they probably fly home, go to class/practice and get ready for the next game. This was one game out of a twenty-game league schedule and one that most (sane) fans had marked as a loss for months. Now, most (sane) fans probably have the next two games marked as a win for months and that was I expect to happen.

Go Marquette - we are still in a very god position.   Beyond most expectations before this season started.   Focus and win the next one.

I am VERY nervous about Xavier and not at all expecting a win after the last few performances

Were you nervous about Xavier after they lost by 100 to Creighton less than 2 weeks ago? How about when they lost at DePaul?

Here are a few more fun scores, all involving the current top 10:

Oklahoma 93, #3 Alabama 69

Utah 81, #4 Arizona 66

Oregon 87, #4 Arizona 68

Florida 67, #6 Tennessee 54

USC 77, #7 UCLA 64

TCU 83, #9 Kansas 60

And so on and so on and so on. It's a long season. Bad losses happen, especially on the road. They happen to the X team you're fearing, too.

Marquette didn't even have the worst margin of defeat for ranked teams last night.

TCU lost by 20+.

It happens all the time.  Onto Georgetown.  Hopefully OMax, Oso, and Kam are better and I have no reason to believe they won't!

Doesn't sound like a leader that is one bit worried.

None of you should be either.

Do we think he's now shaking in his boots at the thought of having to play UCONN, much like Hurley was after Marquette beat UCONN?

Yes, absolutely. I think all coaches are worried every game.  And more worried after teams reveal their strengths.  That's supposed to be the mindset of a coach. Cover all the bases. Leave no stone unturned.

To DC to wax Georgetown. And if they don't? To Milwaukee to wax Xavier. And if they don't? To Omaha to wax Creighton.

Some of you maybe need to hear it, some of you don't, but chill the fux out.

Take it from me, someone who was severely wrong about this team earlier in the year, the first 24 games weren't a fluke.

You are 100% right.

Look at the other teams in the Top 10. Most have multiple losses by 10+ points. We have one.

Most of the have lost at least one blowout game. We have lost one.

The sky is not falling. Teams scout and adjust during conference season. My only worry for the 1st weekend of the Tournament is foul trouble. Games will be called a lot tighter than in the BE.

Shane's got to fire up the team; sharpen the knife; so we can annihilate Georgetown and Xavier. When we play with fire, we're untouchable. This team can do that.
