Was bored out of my mind watching the NBA All-Star game and found Duke vs. Wake Forest on the tube. Even better when the Blue Devils took it in the shorts.

Everyone can stop bitching about Duke getting all the whistles. That was an absolute travesty. All 5 Duke starters fouled out.

It wasn't a travesty.  All 5 Duke starters committed 5 fouls.  That's what happens.  I didn't watch the whole game, but the fouls I did see called were fouls.  And Duke was committing far more fouls than WF.

Also, just because in one game the calls didn't go Duke's way doesn't make the "bitching" as you call it true or untrue.

That was an exciting 2nd half.  Great back and forth game until the last 4 minutes when WF started pulling away and Duke was just taking desparation shots.

That's about as good as it gets...  flip away from the All-Star Game after D-Wade puts up 8 solid points in the first half, then see Duke smoked on the road by a hungrier Wake Forest team.  Not bad at all.

Although I don't think I've ever seen 5 players foul out of a game before...

I did watch the whole game. And fouls that were called on Duke were not called on the other end. They very well could have committed 5 fouls, but the same was true of Wake.

Very possible - I did only watch most of the second half (16 minutes or so).  I thought it was being called pretty fair during that time though.  I certainly didn't think any of the fifth fouls on any player was a bad call.

There was one exchange where a WF defender fouled 2 different Duke players in a row and then the refs called OB on the Duke player he fouled second.  And the play where Scheyer got run over and stole the ball in the process should have been an offensive foul on WF.  Those were the only bad calls I remember.

Either way, though, none of this means that Duke does or doesn't usually have calls go their way.
