More like the USFL.

Maybe LIV will sue successfully and get treble damages -- 3 whole dollars! -- just like the USFL did before it goes under.

I think calling it the USFL is giving LIV too much credit. Maybe the World Football League is more apt.

It'll be inspiring to watch Sergio finish tied for 48th (if he makes the cut).

They can't just find a tree.  Particularly on a course with few trees.

That hole is bad luck for Padraig.   Brained a spectator today.

The commercial for Harbor Shores golf course (is that a network commercial or a local commercial?  Anyway...) has an egregious error in it.   It says Harbor Shores is on the southWEST shore of Lake Michigan.    It is on the SouthEAST shore of Lake Michigan.   It is on the southwest shore of Michigan.

Beautiful course.   Amazing back story.

Routing always looks questionable, what’s the story?

This is a flowery version.    Short version is that there is massive brownfield reclamation on the site of a huge old factory.   Part 2 is doing it in an economically depressed town in the height of the great recession.

The routing is not convenient.    Carts are mandatory, even when the PGA Champions is played there.    A few spots where there is a half mile gap from a green to the next tee that involves going under a major thoroughfare.   Also not a fan of the two different greens on 6.   The green on 10 is as difficult as any green anywhere.

Harold Varner III won LIV this week. Next LIV after US Open. So those who qualify should be well rested and ready to go.

Grillo earned that win through karma.  To treat those kids that well while waiting to see about the playoff..... man.   Well done.

Usually turn my nose up at mandatory carts, but the back story is worth it. Thanks tower.

How will the PGA Tour survive without Harold Varner III?  Can they send Darius Rucker to Saudi Golf, too?
