But Kolek was good and nice to see Kam make some shots.

Awesome Oso.

I expected him to be better offensively and handle the ball a lot more.

I did not expect him to be this good defensively.

Kolek had one of his better all-around games, but Oso dominated at both ends. Shaka wasn't kidding about Oso handling the basketball more than any 5 in the country.

Oso is clearly our most important and indispensable player.  We're a totally different team with him off the floor.  I really hope Wrightsil can contribute because against teams with great bigs it's going to be really tough.  But I will say this:  If MU adds a formidable big for 23-24 we will have all the pieces to be really competitive with anybody.  Defensively I think we're significantly better than last season.

Defensively I think we're significantly better than last season.

To date, analytics say we're about even.  But at this point last year I think we may have been behind too.

The truth, we played in a pretty crappy tourney, and finished 3/4.  But, there's room for growth.

That's fair rocky.  And we won't be able to press certain teams, plus our defensive rebounding is still a problem.   But I think we're better stopping the ball and with our overall rotations. My biggest concern is Oso having to do everything on the interior.

Agreed.  As much as the others are integral to the team, Kolek and Oso are invaluable!

Watching it in person I thought Kolek. Key scores when needed. If shots went in he’d have way more assists.
Surprised not more love for Kam. But love the acknowledgement that Sean played great defense. Both games actually.

I went back to the box and am truly shocked.  19 pts on 50% shooting overall and from three.  The announcers were dogging him all game about shooting all the time so I didn’t appreciate he had racked up that many points.

I’ll vote for Kam.
