Come on Dan, Omax and just now Kolek missed two footers.

Got it within two, then jack up some threes.  3 for 19 now.  Shaka jokes about Kam “shooting from the moon” and “ he doesn’t know where the line is”. Most coaches would bench a guy for chucking it up.

This is true.  Why does he allow him to shoot it from “outer space” as he said after last game.

There must be stats somewhere on teams that do not scorer for 5 minutes straight or longer and the percentage of those games they win.  Anyone know?

Mississippi State is not a Tourney team.

This seems pretty inaccurate.

Another 8-11 seed ala Purdue imo, which is problematic in that MU lost to both.

Metrics matta doe, and Marquette can pass them up by seasons end with some nice results

Dr. V,

It comes down to making open shots as you said.  I think against both Purdue and Miss St. (notwithstanding Kam's forced ones) we got a lot of open looks.   If we don't have the personnel make these J's there's no sugarcoating that we have a significant problem.
