You're right, 9-9-9 ... that WAS an excellent article. Or at least it was an OK article about an excellent player, one I'm really looking forward to see wearing a Marquette uniform.

Thanks for sharing the article.
To success for MU and Tre Norman.

Would DJ Carton be a good comparison?

Different styles. DJ relied a lot more on pure athleticism. From what I've seen of Norman, he has more strength and uses his body exceptionally well.

I hope not, DJ had no jump shot which will keep him out of the NBA.  Norman has a variety of ways to score from.  But no guard dunked like DJ, he was fun to watch.  Should have stayed and probably would make more in NLI then the G league.

Norman feels more like a Brunson-type. Can get you a couple of ways.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Norman actually reminds me a lot of Morsell the way he is built and moves on the court, just more advanced offensively than Morsell was coming out of HS.  Norman probably isnt quite as good of a defender at this stage, but still I see a lot of similarities.

Tre bumps us to #11 recruiting class for '23 right now per 24/7.
I'll take it....

These rankings are all over the place. Rivals has us at 60. The consensus has us at 40. I have no idea how this relates to performance on the court which is the only thing that matters.

Rivals also has MU with one commitment of the the three Marquette has.

Different sites do it differently. ON3 takes their guesstimated skill rank and then averages it. So a 1 5 star player class is better than a 5 4 star player class.

Largely rankings dont matter for any non top 20 recruit in my eyes. Plus they have a full year to still develop. This class got done a little early.

BC, even though I knew the context of your post, my mind went right to Dominic. He could get up there, too - I loved the lob to him.

The greatest dunker was George Thompson.

Banned for most of his collegiate career. I am going with DJO or Artie "The Grasshopper" Green.

DJ had some "Holy sh!t!!" dunks. Loved when he'd fake the dribble handoff and then go hammer it down.

Also loved Sam Worthen alley-oopin' to Artie Green.

Lewis had a few good jams last year.

And that Wade kid wasn't bad, either.

Hope not, D.J. was just as selfish on the court as he was off it.
