40 minutes, 60 points, 25 rebounds, 15 blocks. ;D     OK, seriously, if we can get 6-8 minutes out of him and he doesn't re-injure himself, I will be happy.

15 minutes, 3 points, 7 boards, 4 fouls.

Just having him out there is huge.  I'd have him come off the bench.

Come on now, he might be a little rusty.  Still, I expect similar numbers to Novak's game against Uconn: 41 points, 16 rebounds.

I'll project 10 minutes, 4 points, 4 rebounds, 3 fouls.

Does anyone know if and for how long he's been practicing? I'm hesitant to give a a new guy much of anything. It does sound like he's been involved with some practice time of late. Don't think we should/can expect much, especially tonight.

He has been participating in warmups for about 3 weeks now - I think.
But I like to throw handfuls...

Honestly, I don't know what to expect, tonight will really be the measuring stick.  I think just getting some time in games is great at this point.  Anything else is gravy.

If he ends up being productive - awesome!  If he's so-so - great!  Any experience he can get now will be important for next year.

Don't get me wrong, we're not the hottest of teams right now and yes we may have needed this, but wouldn't FULL COMPLETE recovery and 4 MORE years at marquette make more sense?

I mean i know he's going to be great..I dunno, just had me thinking.
It's not about ME,

That was my initial reaction. But maybe he's practicing like such a monster that it's clear he isn't going to stay around 4 years anyway  ;)

Assuming he can shake the rust off and get in game shape quickly, he is obviously a piece we need and could potentially make a major contribution somewhere down the line for a tournament team.

I'll trust the judgment of the coaches on this one. But I am quite surprised.

4pts, 6 rebs, 3 blks, 4 fouls, & 28,000 beers served.

He's probably been practicing for a week or so and abusing the three B's, like every other big man in the BEast, so they figured, what the heck.

I disagree...this is a great move by the coaching staff.  You have to play for today, not next year, and not 4 years from now.  We need all the big guys we can get right now.  I don't expect a great game from him tonight tho, I mean c'mon, he is making his NCAA debut against Dejuan Blair after all.  But after a few games, when he gets his feet wet and feels comfortable on the Big East stage he will be productive.

Or maybe he's not a 5 year kind of guy which is why he wants to get this moving along.

10 minutes, five per half.  Six points, four rebounds, three fouls.
