I really look forward to the tbt years with wojos guys. I really want to relive those 7 years of memories like I do with Diener.

JJJ and Swaggy D could win the TBT as a two-man team...

Probably will need Jeenathan and his Neck.

Does that mean JJJ + Swaggy D = Mbakwe?

How do we feel about this?  Go get that $$$, but also, that's kinda gross.

They should all play for whoever they want if Marquette's not going to have a team.

Sure, I was more wondering would anyone tune in and/or root for Buycks to have success if it also meant that that specific team would too.  The Wichita State team or the Kansas State team I could see (DJO played for a non-MU team one year IIRC), but it'd be a tougher ask for Syracuse IMO.

Eh.  They hardly have any Syracuse payers from what I remember.

I will tune in to root for Buycks the same number of times that I tuned in to watch a TBT team other than Marquette's in previous years...zero.

Best of luck to Buycks.   Get paid, not so young man.

Exactly.   In years past, the MU TBT team picked up players from other schools.   MU doesn't have a team this year.  Buycks is essentially a free agent.

Is Dwight going to be coached by Devendork?  That would be tough to view.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

I enjoyed watching the MU teams in past years; I doubt I’ll watch a minute of the TBT this year.

Since Jimmy B got shytcanned, is this even a Syracuse team anymore? More like Old BE All-Stars.

I get it.  Frustrating we aren't fielding a team.

Is there a reason why there is no tram this year after so much success in recent years?
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I get the impression most of the core of the group was done with the TBT and they didn't have enough newer alumni interested to fill in.
(Just my speculation.)

We had a great TBT core. Guys like McNeal, DJO, Jamil, and Buycks were always good enough to flirt with the NBA but not quite good enough to stick.

But as the Crean/Buzz era guys age out, we just don't have that anymore. The guys that Wojo coached & recruited for the most part just aren't there. I could see us having a successful team 5-10 years down the road. Maybe even including some Wojo guys like Markus or Sacar, but we need a new core of borderline NBA talent to be a TBT force again.

I am interested to see if the TBT is still around in 5-10 years.

Joe Chapman getting married this summer might also be a contributing factor.
Have some patience, FFS.

Unless I went to a different Joe Chapman wedding, he’s definitely been married for almost ten years…
