There are comments floating around other threads about Marquette's performance in the BE tournament since the school joined the conference in 2005/2006.  I have posted year by year MU Big East tourney results below:

05/06  0-1
06/07  1-1
07/08  2-1
08/09  1-1
09/10  2-1
10/11  2-1 (Sweet 16)
11/12  0-1 (Sweet 16)
12/13  0-1 (Elite 8)
13/14  0-1
14/15  1-1
15/16  1-1
16/17  0-1
17/18  1-1
18/19  1-1
20/21  0-1
21/22  0-1

TOTAL:  12 - 16
SEMI APPEARANCES - 3 (07/08, 09/10, 18/19)
FINALS - 0

CountryRoads

Too lazy to double check, but I believe they are 3-15 in the quarterfinal round.

CTWarrior

By my count:

Pre-Quarters:  9-1 (only loss to Georgetown last year)
Quarterfinals:  3-12
Semifinals:  0-3

Overall, 12-16 doesn't sound terrible (not good), but 3-15 overall once we get to the last 8 is horrific.

For MU, Creighton, Butler, Depaul and X playing at the Garden is essentially a "Road games". While for the East Coast teams they are Quasi "Home games". I wonder what our record would be if we played the BET in Chicago or Indianapolis where the western clubs would have more fans in the seats?

Didn't Cooley say there were 9000 Providence fans at the game?

We just lost to Creighton.  Let's stop with the excuses.

16-17 .. not 1-1, it was 0-1

20-21 .. not 1-1, it was 0-1

Corrected.  It was right in my spreadsheet but I did not transfer the year by year data for those seasons correctly to Scoop.  The 12 - 16 overall record is accurate.  Thanks for the heads up.

This and the fact that one of the few quarterfinal wins was in 2018 against St Johns.
