Kam.  His run turned a close game into a runaway.

Kur was solid throughout, but frankly his teammates do 80% of the work when he scores.  Being pleasantly surprised when your C grabs 4 rebounds is not that great.  He played very well on the defensive half of the court.

I thought Kolek deserves to be in the discussion.  Loved all the assists.

Kur

Kam's heat check 3 did not make Shaka happy.  Didn't play much after that.

Tough choice, but here they are:

1. Kur.
1a. Kam.
2. JFL.

Good game by O-Max too.

I already voted for Kur, but it's great to see some of us struggling to choose between them. Kam is a very close runner up to me and it's looking like he will win.

Kam for the young career best night.

Kur an honorable mention for an almost perfect night were it not for the last missed free throw.

Or does Kam get the easy buckets? Anyone on this thread can make a 3 pointer. There aren't any that can play above the rim like Kur.

Not to mention, Kam is getting open a lot of the time because a rolling Kur or Justin draw a crowd of defenders.

The next time a “rolling Kur” (or any kind of Kur) draws a crowd of defenders will be the first. Most of Kur’s baskets are scored because his defender has left him to help (usually on Kolek) and literally nobody is guarding him.

Good point Lenny. Kur sees his opportunities and takes advantage of them before the defenders can get to him. It's as if he is hiding and then suddenly shows up under (or above!) the basket.

Yep. Ooze used to have that invisibility thing going too, but he usually had to step over the baseline below the hoop. Kur somehow becomes invisible right in the middle of the lane.

1. Kam, had a few heat checks/questionable shots but loved he was shooting with confidence. Looked like he was having fun out there

2. Kur in second, much improved on both ends last night compared to the last few games, good bounce back

That's far from true. If Kur were open everytime at the rim he'd get the ball everytime. He's often shut down with multiple defenders.

See Shaka's postgame last night where he said Kolek has to shoot because often times defenders sag off of him to guard the roller.

Ah, the mental struggle, the angst, the deliberative effort - all being belittled by the mods, in their smug insouciance.

Have never seen a SOTG awarded until after the next game. Who says Scoop isn't progressive?
