Progress in the season.....

As I have mentioned here and at other message boards I participate in the measure of a good coach and his team is that I expect them to be better in January than November and better in March than January. To show improvement throughout the year. Championships aren't won on paper in October preseason predictions by the pundits or even us.
This team HAS shown improvement tremendously since November. They have grown together and looks like to have accepted and bought into coach Smart's manta. Much like Buzz's teams and guys these guys play hard all the time. They ARE flawed but have not settled into a repetitive level of static play. They are very much fun to watch.
I expect CONTINUED improvement and growth through season's end and do not anticipate or predict the late seasons imploding like teams of recent past. We WILL lose games, possibly get us frustrated and not win the Big East or national championships BUT we will be exciting and fun to watch.
Let's enjoy the moments of accomplishment when they happen and I think coach Smart does a very nice job of communicating, teaching and leading these guys. I do predict NOT a lot of turnover year to year in the transfer portal. Maybe not none but very minimal.
