OMax

Followed by Kolek.

Markusquette

This is a really difficult choice. Kolek was controlling the offense, making some amazing passes, playing great D and also making baskets.

O-Max was just a workhorse all night. Nearly perfect from the field, brought a ton of energy. He was really impressive, especially with his aggressive takes and finishes around the basket. Because of the way he asserted himself all night, I am going with O-Max.

I gotta go Kolek slightly over Omax.

Kolek made the runs happen.

Absolutely thrilled with the development by Omax though.

Either is a worthy choice.  Kolek because of the assists.

TKo. Not just his stats, but the difference in the team when he is on the floor.

O-Max and Kolek. Flip a coin.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper.

The Canuck looks like a new man. The game has slowed down for him and he looks so so comfortable out there.

It is a game changer for this team and the future if he keeps anything close to this type of comfort and production up.

A few games ago he looked like a dear in headlights at this level, not so much anymore. Love to see it.

Oh and yes, Tyler is starting to become a force

Kolek with a huge assist from O-Max

I'm just glad the status of the roller coaster on my yacht doesn't depend on this decision.
BTW, in this case, there is no wrong answer between the two.

O-Max-Lek.

I have to go OMax ...... he can be the game changer.  Kolek is just a tremendous passer, and created his win shots tonight.  So...... it's a pick'Em lol

O-Max. The game is coming to him and it is super exciting to see.

Was lucky enough to be at the game.
OMax had a great game but the numbers were swelled by those that fed him.

Watching the game in person it was apparent that the offense was quite different when Kolek sat. I have not seen the box score, but he was the difference and tone-setter in this one.

Number 22.

BM1090

Either is a good choice

brewcity77

Tyler Kolek. The offense simply didn't go without him until after doubt was removed. O-Max honorable mention, really good game from him too.

MU82

This is the most difficult choice so far this season IMHO. Either of tonight's two studs is obviously very, very deserving.

Both set a great tone for the game, both played their roles to near perfection.

I think I'll go with Kolek because he had a great stat line (as did O-Max, obviously) but also because the stretch when he was out of the game reinforced just how valuable he is to our offense.

Yup. I really thought he best demonstrated his importance from the bench when we had 7 straight empty possessions in a 13-0 run. Especially because it was his value on both ends of the floor that was evident.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

OMax, he set the tone early and was a nightmare on defense.  Kolek a very close second. Kolek was the most valuable but OMax was the bigger stud

Great win- had to be Kolek tho, when he came out at the end of.the first half they got.back in it. With him in again in the 2nd half.we stepped on the gas again even if he didn't rack up many (any?) 2nd half dimes

I struggled with choosing between Omax and Kolek like many others here but I'm going with Kolek. It was very obvious what he brings to this team on both ends of the court as proven while he sat in the 1st half and Georgetown went on their run. Omax is a very, very close second. Too bad we cannot have co-STOGs.

I'm going with OMax over TK, only so I can see if Rocky posts the name as "OMax" instead of "Prosper", otherwise, it's a horse apiece.

Not to disagree with the selection but since a lot of people are mentioning this I'll just note that in the second half when kolek sat we went on a nice run and extended the lead. I wonder what changed.

My vote is for OMAX.

Moving forward I am going with whoever Kolek makes the SOTG. Kolek is going to be the same guy every game and my guess is that he will be feeding the ball to different guys on different nights. He is the glue of the team and everyone will benefit from it on different nights.

Omax was the difference. He played great.

I vote for Tyler.

I have not posted any hate for OMax but admit I was not liking his play. I am delighted I was wrong.  I hope he continues to develop. I still get frustrated with the close range bunnies he misses but overall I'm becoming a fan.

Spaniel with a Short Tail

O-Max. Which means it will be TK.

Rocky, I agree with the choice. And, I think that a photo of Tyler making a pass is more apropos to his play than one of his shooting.
