I find it slightly strange that Itejere is in uniform for the games and participates in warmups.  Typically redshirt players would be in street clothes on the bench.

Smart decision (no pun intended). Being in uniform reflects the fact that he's available to come off the bench if necessary, however unlikely it may be.

It is just mean.

"It's mean" to have him suit up and feel apart of the team he practices and lives with nearly 24/7 even if he isn't going to play?  And thats assuming that he and Shaka have no dialogue and he's completely in the dark about his status hoping for a morsel of playing time.  Thats just ridiculous

Shaka has even said that he wants Keeyan to get used to the gameday routine and conduct himself as if he will play.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

No—I should have quoted the typo I was responding to. Take it ease 85.

By the way, is it just mean or is anyone else getting sick of the word "culture" haha. I've heard it more this year than ever before.

A part of the team, or apart from the team??   ?-(
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
